Hey there! My name is Stephanie Faught. Welcome to my blog!
I'm a 24 year old mamma with a passion for fitness and changing lives!! I have an incredible son and
an amazing boyfriend named Joe who is such a huge inspiration in my life.
I've always been interested in fitness. I've been in sports my whole life, but volleyball is my absolute favorite. I played all through middle school, high school, and into college.
After my college days, I joined the US Air Force as an aircraft electrician. Little did I know that my real journey in life would start here. In December of 2012 I found out that I was pregnant with my first son, Evan. I tried to remain active at the gym throughout my pregnancy but fell off of the bandwagon around 25 weeks.
The bigger I got, the less I did,
and the lazier I became. I kept my weight gain under control, but still lacked in physical activity.
After I gave birth to my son I felt awful about myself and started taking diet pills. I became obsessed with my appearance and losing weight until one day, I took a good look in the mirror. I finally realized how far I'd gone. I was 5'6 and almost 110 pounds. I saw myself not as needing to loose more weight, but needing help.
I made it a goal to gain 15 lbs, and my fitness journey began.
In March of 2014 I vowed to myself to quit with the diet pills, and focus on becoming a healthier and more confident version of me.
The only down fall..... I was COMPLETELY clueless. I mean I walked around the gym scared out of my mind because I had no idea what I was doing. I attempted Insanity and fell off about 2 weeks in. I could not stick with a plan.
I had no clue about Beachbody or that Insanity was even a Beachbody program. I had a friend from basic (now my coach) named Karlie who had invited me to her challenge groups multiple times and I just could not commit.
I finally joined a group with another coach, with the Body Beast Program and boy did I fall in love with Beachbody. The whole big picture, the accountability, the workout programs, the meal plans, the results. It was incredible to me.
Karlie had always talked to me about becoming a coach but I did not want to commit.
Finally, a year later in April of 2015 I told her that I was ready.
I had fire in my eyes for helping people. I knew I'd have a lot to learn, but I knew that if Beachbody changed my life as much as it did, I knew it would help others.
It blows my mind every day when challengers come to me with amazing results and progress updates. I will never get tired of hearing people talk about how much Beachbody has changed them. All I want to do is share it with the world. That's why I'm here today. I'm a young Emerald coach with a fire in her eyes and a passion for changing the world.
